Does my baby have to drink the bottle all up?
Babies’ appetites can vary, and each baby has her or his own needs. The amount suggested on the package is the average amount that a baby normally consumes at this respective age. Babies know best how much formula they need and regulate how much they need by themselves.
Don’t worry if there is something left in the bottle; that just shows that your baby is full. You must not, however, re-use leftovers.
How many bottles does my baby need a day?
Just as with breastfed babies, the amount of meals bottle-fed babies need can vary. On top of this, the amount of bottles can depend on the age of the baby, e.g. they reduce when weaning food is being introduced. You will find recommendations on your HiPP Milk Formula packet as a guideline.
